is a small county but it is very beautiful. (It includes 700 islands. Scotland
is a part of the UK, along with England, Wales and Northern Ireland).It lies to
the north of England. It is smaller than England but large than Wales and Ireland.
It is a country of mountains, lakes and forest. The population of Scotland is over 5 million people. The area is
about 80 thousand sq/km. The capital is Edinburgh. Glasgow is the biggest city.
Summer
temperatures are 15-18 degrees. In
winter it can be very cold, -10 in the North.
Scottish speak English with a Scottish accent.
Scotland
is famous for tartans, bagpipe music and golden eagles. It’s the home of golf.
